ECMA 2019

The East Coast Music Association (ECMA) shines a spotlight on Atlantic Canada’s music industry, preserving and promoting East Coast talent at home and around the world. In their mission to foster, develop and promote East Coast music, the ECMA has identified Scotland as a priority market – providing a perfect partnership opportunity for Showcase Scotland Expo.

Our partnership with ECMA aims to increase the visibility and opportunities for Canadian and Scottish artists. Together we seek to boost the presence of artists from Atlantic Canada at events in Scotland, while promoting Scottish artists at the ECMA and throughout Canada’s Atlantic Provinces.

In 2019, Showcase Scotland Expo presented Fara and Blue Rose Code at EMCA on the beautiful Prince Edward Island. Both bands performed at the Kick Off Ceilidh, the prestigious event opening, and then performed public shows as part of the wider festival.
