About The Event
Scotland Introducing is an initiative connecting English audiences with Scotland’s best new folk and traditional artists. Supported by Creative Scotland, PRS Foundation and the Scottish Government, Scotland Introducing showcases the best of Scotland’s emerging musical artists through a programme of performances and tours across England.
Scotland Introducing will launch with a performance at one of London’s most celebrated folk music venues. Presented as part of London Roots Festival, Firelight Trio will perform on 26th November 2025 at Cecil Sharp House – the perfect setting for the Scotland-based trio’s endlessly exciting European folk music.
Scotland Introducing official launch reception – 25 November 2025
Scotland Introducing featuring Firelight Trio will officially launch at Scotland House, in partnership with the Scottish Government, on 25 November. This event will formally launch the programme ahead of the Cecil Sharp House performance.
